Before ordering, we can review the dimensions and product information available for your project.
Measure the height and width of each wall separately and include photos showing doors, windows, corners and other features. Note sloped ceilings or changes in height. These details help us review the layout and estimate material quantities.
Send the product name, roll width and length, pattern repeat, match type and manufacturer’s installation instructions. Confirm the actual selling unit: a product may be priced by a single roll, double roll, yard or panel set. The label “roll” alone does not establish coverage.
Tell us whether you are covering an accent wall, a full room or several spaces. Pattern placement, trimming and usable strip lengths affect the estimate, so total wall area alone is not enough to determine how much wallpaper to order.
The usable coverage depends on the product and layout, not just the square footage printed on the label.
The pattern repeat describes how often the design repeats. A straight match aligns at the same height on neighboring strips; a drop match requires an offset. Matching the design can require extra length, which changes the number of usable strips from each roll.
Wall height, pattern placement and trimming at the top and bottom affect strip length. Doors and windows do not always reduce the material needed by their full area. We review the layout before recommending an order quantity rather than applying the same waste percentage to every product.
Ask your supplier about matching batch or dye-lot numbers and confirm the product, color and selling unit before ordering. Keep the labels and installation instructions with the material. Discuss whether to order extra for your project and retain any usable leftovers.
